This card is another request from my sister...
Very sad story...
A co worker's small child is in the hospital
recovering,
from falling in a pool...
My heart sank when she told me the story...
This card is also a first for me.
I have never had to make or give a card for a moment like this.
I was very nervous...
The last thing I wanted to do was to cause the family distress...
I know it sounds weird,
but the child is a boy, so all the regular soft blues are out...
I didn't want to remind them of the pool...
So I colored the image and I left it...
Then I thought, what is softer than blue?
and does not invoke any feelings one way or the other???
Then I saw it... Grey...
I love grey...
and I hope it will bring them comfort...
