Everyday Is Halloween For Me...

 I love Halloween.
 It's is my favorite holiday.
When I was a kid, I didn't wait for Christmas, for me it was and has always been Halloween.
Since it is October, I couldn't resist and I made more Halloween cards.
These cards are from scraps and odds and ends I had in my scrap box.
Every once in a while I go through my scrap box and just stamp on the scraps and then I fussy cut them.
I put them in little bags and put them away.
I do the same with mats. I cut them, emboss them, ink them, put adhesive on the backs and then I rubber band them and put them aside for when  I want to make a quick card.
When I get the urge, I pull them out and make cards with what I have, and that is what makes it fun.

I used :
Black card stock to make A2 cards.
The mats were out of black card stock using Tim Holtz embossing folders:  Dot Matrix, Checkerboard and Gridlock.
The papers I used were scraps from Graphic 45 and Recollections card stock.

 Card 1:
3 Skulls on  Checkerboard mat.

Inside of Card 1:
red card stock with Happy Halloween stamp on Gridlock Mat.

Card 2:
Skull on Circle (both Graphic 45 scraps) on Dot Matrix mat.

Inside of Card 2:
Graphic 45 paper as mat, with tan card stock scrap to write a little Halloween note and Skull as the finishing touch.

This was so fun. I love doing cards like this.
I use up scraps.
I get to reuse my favorite papers and stamps, and in the end I am always surprised of the outcome.
It really takes no planning, just a few moments here and there to stamp on scraps, cut them out, and bag them up.
When you get a few more spare moments make some mats, add texture and color; when you have enough rubber band them together and put them aside.
Then when you have more time to kill or spare, make extra card blanks and rubber band them together.
Doing these thing little by little and putting them in a place you can remember will make for fun, fast and amazingly interesting cards.
Give it a try... all it takes are a few moments here and there and all your scraps.

I entered these cards in the following :
